The Story

On Sunday, 30th August 2026, the streets of Kampala and towns across Uganda came alive with a shared purpose: to run, to remember, and to build a cancer-free future. Marking its milestone 15th anniversary, the annual Rotary Cancer Run stood out as one of the country's largest mass-participation fundraising events.

Joining Hands for Health

A visible community health partner.

This year, the Movit Foundation proudly stepped into the arena as a visible community health partner, joining hands with the Rotary Club of Muyenga to make a lasting impact.

Running for a cancer-free future.

The Rotary Cancer Run brought communities together around a shared commitment to health, remembrance and collective action.

Our Participation

50 staff. One shared purpose.

Driven by the vision of our Founder, Mr. Simpson Birungi, a long-standing and dedicated member of the Rotary Club of Muyenga, the Movit Foundation sponsored a vibrant delegation of 50 staff members from both the Foundation and Movit Africa Limited to participate in the race.

Our team didn't just run a race; they carried the torch of corporate empathy, health advocacy, and community transformation.
